29er rolls better and rolls over objects more easily. 26er is more nimble. That's about it. Also 26 is more or less dying out (it has been replaced by 27.5). This means that right now parts are really cheap, but in a few years you may run into availability issues.
Product Description. Introduced back in 2013, the Vigilante 2.3 has remained synonymous with aggressive trail and enduro riding. Prominent lugs dig into any terrain, wet or dry, and provide support at high speeds. Ample spacing between knobs allows it to evacuate the tread while biting into loose, chunky trails. Save Share. The 3 doesn't do very good in the snow like the 4 does. No, the rim size is different. 27.5(650b) has a bead seat diameter of 584mm. 26 in wheels have a bead seat diameter of 559mm. 27.5 tires won't fit 26 wheels, too loose. And 26 in tires you couldn't even begin to fit on 27.5 rims, they would be so tight.

If we assume that the numbers are not worn away on your deck and example is 32-622 on your bicycle tires, describes the 622 tire diameter, while the 32 stands for the width of your bike tires. If you find the width of your bike tires minor, simply use the diameter, which in this example is 622 Remember, however, that the rim of your bicycle

So the actual measurement of a particular bike may vary from the spec on the particular rim. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 26” WHEELS AND 700C WHEELS. Twenty-six-inch wheels are used most commonly on mountain bikes, and they tend to be fatter. They have a little more cushion to them. Naturally, there is more air volume to disperse as you go over bumps.

It would be nice to compare Mullet bikes vs full 27,5 wheels bikes I have also never ridden an mtb with 27.5" or 29" wheels and of course the difference between 26" and 27.5" or even 29

I was hoping that the boxxer 27.5 and 29 were the same besides the lowers that are on each. I have been able to find any difference besides that. And it seems all the parts for each are not designated 27.5 or 29 I hope that someone can set me straight before a big mistake.
Some people have put on a 27.5 fork on their 26 bike frame to run fatter tires, like 26 x 2.6, etc. But how many people have simply put on a real 27.5 inch tire with a 27.5 fork on a 26 bike and left the rest stock (as in let the rear tire stay as 26 inch)? Is it doable? Is it too much of an upright seating position now? Harder to pedal up hills? Kq0aghs.
