Full review. Introduced with the Fujifim X-M1 camera, the Fujinon XF 27mm f/2.8 lens is an excellent partner for Fujifilm’s other X-series bodies. Only 23 mm in length and weighing 78 grams, this lens covers the same angle of view as a 41mm lens on a 35mm camera. It’s roughly the same coverage as the human eye, which makes this lens
Fujinon managed to surprise me. They launched the Fujinon XF 16 mm f/2.8 R WR model which is their third f/2.8 prime and a macro lens too. The dimensions of the lens were the second surprise. Keeping in mind how small the Samsung NX 2.4/16 was, I was sure that the new Fujinon lens would be a small, shapely pancake.
The Fujinon XF 90mm f/2 LM WR was announced last monday alongside the Fujifilm X-T10 (which I wrote about here). Completing the line up of classic portraiture lenses, this 135mm full frame eq. FOV has been on the wishlist of many portrait and fashion photographers using the Fujifilm X series and its Fujinon XF lens eco-system.

Image Quality. The 27mm f2.8 is a lens that has some excellent image quality–in terms of stances we feel that it isn’t as sharp as the 35mm f1.4 but it is sharper than the 18mm f2, 14mm f2.8

One of them is the TTArtisan AF 27mm f/2.8, available in X-mount (tested here), E-mount and Z-mount. The paper specs aren't all that hot upon first sight - it's an APS-C format lens equivalent to "42mm f/4.2". However, just like its Fujinon XF 27mm f/2.8 WR counterpart, it is tiny, making it an interesting option for street photography.
The Fujinon 27mm f/2.8 finds a middle ground between enthusiast-oriented maximalism and the minimalism of rivals Olympus and Sony. It sheds Fuji's customary aperture ring in an effort to slim its profile to the bare minimum, but retains the series' high-quality build and respectable optical performance. Oct 27, 2022. David Crewe. TTArtisan has released a new APS-C 27mm f/2.8 Autofocus Lens for Fujifilm X-Mount systems that costs a mere $150. The new X-mount optic, initially spotted by DPReview
