FALLOUT NEW VEGAS is the latest addition to the FALLOUT series, taking you to the wastes around the sparkling city of VEGAS to explore, maim, kill and do what all your other FALLOUT Personally I think this is one of the greatest games of all time, but I would never play the ps3 version again. It's just too jacked up. dammit. Yeah ps3 and streaming it on Plus is my only option right now. Ima get an Xbox when Starfield releases. But yeah fallout new Vegas is the only fallout game I haven’t finished because of the freezing.
In fallout 3 I would have a lot of freezes in vats or even with looting corpses/containers. Hell even going to a loading screen would make it freeze. With new Vegas though, it just got so laggy that even trying to move forward it would freeze on me. It got to the point where I just stopped playing because it wasn’t playable.

The gunplay and encounter design are far superior to any other 3D Fallout game. Verticality in levels, better audiovisuals, extensive weapon modding, better AI, and the list goes on. The quests and story are severely lacking, as they were in Fallout 3, but the gameplay is much, much better in 4. 15.

PC>XBOX>PS3. The game engine is really poor at managing memory and will start to slow the game down as it reaches the memory limits of whatever device you're using. Most PCs have way more memory than consoles and the xbox has more memory available to the game than the PS3. tri-sapphire 11 years ago #6.
