Infuse these with Agony Resistance and run fractals. You may even get more ascended gear. You can get ascended gear (weapons and armor) doing Strike Missions or completing the elite specialization weapon quests (for select weapons). This is honestly probably the easiest if you really want that +10% boost in stats for everything.
To be able to buy the T3-ascended gear you must have unlocked the T2-skin. And to be able to buy the T2 skin you must have unlocked the T1 skin etc. BTW: If you plan to build the Legendary with the T3-skin it is cheaper to buy the exotic version of the T2-gear to unlock the T2 skin. Edited October 28, 2021 by Zok.4956 You can also buy ascended rings from the TP for about 23-30g (Rurik’s Engagement Ring). To save time, buy the soot-covered ring from the TP directly and chuck it into the volcano at Ember Bay. Otherwise, you can buy the strange rock and do the 4 step quest instead, which doesn’t take much longer but is cheaper by about 7g.
If you're still early on in the game, consider just sticking with exotic gear. As you play the game you'll just naturally acquire lots of the materials you need, as well as the money you'll need to buy anything you're missing. Ascended gear is nice, but it's only like a 5% stat boost -- it's not worth wearing yourself out for.
With those 3 maps alone you have all the trinkets and back pack and underwater helmet (you can even ditch Bloodstone Fen, albeit its ascended items are extremely conveninet). After those, the best two are Dragonfall (amulet, ring, ear ring) and Sanswept Isles (ring, ear ring); Dragonfall main event is hugely profitable, but requires all mounts
Just by playing you'll slowly accumulate gear boxes and currency making gearing up a new ascended set dirt cheap. Not even mentioning that for the most part, exotic armor is a perfectly viable option for the vast majority of content. I don't remember the last time i've struggled to gear a char with ascended armor.
Getting a full set of ascended gear out of the way early speeds up access to all end game content, especially fractals. For some stat combinations, it can also be significantly less expensive to stat change ascended items than to craft them in exotics - and without having to spend gold and materials to level crafting masteries too. Stoked.
Alternatively to buying you can craft the exotic armor yourself which will save you some gold and then salvage for the research. Again, this is NOT the cheapest way but it is a very fast way especially if you don't have excess ascended to salvage. I have 16,000 research notes doing it this way. 0. The_Food_One. For the last stretch, you’ll discover 3 last Emblazoned pieces, then discover named items like Trackless Boots. Stick it out til you reach 500 Leatherworking. Finally, you’re done and can craft all the Ascended gear you want. Now see if you can’t fill that big hole in your wallet. Join the High Ground! That wraps up the GW2 Leatherworking 127Yy.
