When I use the red USB ports or USB C port, I would get these crackling sound on my DAC. I also get major USB freezing issues randomly when using a USB Windows Boot To Go stick. Red are usb 3.0, the small one is usb c, the top two are probably what youre going to need to use if you use a usb keyboard to install windoze. Once an OS is loaded you could use any of them, but it would be a waste to plug your mouse / keyboard into a SS port.
