I then modded a cheap universal tablet mount($8 on ebay) to attach my Note 10.1 to the wheel, and don't even have to remove my case. It can either sit on my lap or mount to a table. Plus it has a little resistance and it autocenters. It works perfectly for NFS Most Wanted, and I find I do a lot better with the wheel than without it.

Steering wheels can be USED, but the game doesn't support them. There's no proper force feedback. If you can tolerate playing like that, a wheel will reportedly "work".
If it doesn't support XInput, then you need to use something like DS4Windows or Steam's controller support. You can also try using the XtendedInput mod, as it's technically the better solution. XtendedInput for Underground and Underground 2 XtendedInput for Most Wanted, Carbon, ProStreet, Undercover, and World i have no clue, I have a ps4 controller and it recognizes it, the controls dont work in game. that's exactly where i am at. i have tried different games and those games work its just nfs:mw doesn't pick-up on the controller. #6.
